G7 Entertainment Services has developed a wide range of specialised crew, and having been part of the production team on as varied events as the Channel 5 Roadshow, Bat Out Of Hell, the British Soap Awards 2017, the In The Night Garden live show, Cirque De Surreal and the Museum of Museums Tutankhamun Exhibition.
As well as these events, we've also worked with such artists as Rihanna, Robbie Williams, Muse, Take That, Roger Waters and many more, providing load-ins and outs, specialised technical set ups and huge indoor and outdoor builds.

These experiences have given the crew the opportunity to obtain new skills and meet challenges in many and various situations.

G7 Entertainment Services provided fencing, staging and marquees for this years Gobefest, celebrating Hungarian culture in manchester's Albert Square - photos below.

Amongst many other events, we've recently worked with Dinosaur World - an interactive family show, and the 2017 British Soap Awards - two very different events at the same venue - The Lowry in Salford - showing our commitment in providing very high standards for all events.

G7 can provide a wide selection of stage sizes created from steel decking at any height you require on steel legs. All stages are braced for support where necessary and a site visit will be required to ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.

Legs are hidden using stage drapes called ‘skirts’ that are fire retardant and can be any colour or pattern you require. The stage floor comes in a black as standard but it can be carpeted or painted any colour required.

We can supply stages for large outdoor events or small garden parties.

G7 have provided catwalks for charity events and stages for music festivals so has a wide range of experience for whatever your event will require.

All our stages comply with all health and safety regulations and come with a full risk assessment and method statement for each event.

Staging

In 2011 the company purchased a wide selection of staging equipment. Since then G7 has provided staging for a variety of events, from outdoor music festivals to indoor tiered seating for schools.

G7 has a good working relationship with Manchester city council, providing the staging for the Chinese new year in Albert Square and Faulkner street and at various parks across the city for a variety community events over a number of years.

Gobefest

One of our more recent tasks was building this 500 seat outdoor arena in Grosvenor Park in Chester for the Storyhouse production of Alice In Wonderland.
A crew of twelve built and rigged out the theatre over 7 days. G7 also provided the infrastructure as well, erecting 8 marquees and assisting with the fencing and groundwork.

In the pics you'll see the three semi-circular light and sound portals which we set up, winched and powered.
We also unloaded the trucks of scenery, lighting, special effects and props. We assisted in putting together the portals and stage trucks. We laid the flooring down and carried out flying work - dropping hemp rope from the grid to attach black cloths and attaching scenery and back cloths to the flying bars,

Technical Crew

If it is a sound engineer for a one-off concert or forklift drivers, climbers, steel hands, and production crew for a stadium build then G7 Entertainment Services can help.

We have worked on hundreds of arena shows, and outdoor spectaculars including the Liverpool City of Culture, and provided first-rate event crew.

G7 can turn a hand to building stage set in theatre and providing lighting and follow spot operators, wardrobe assistants and stage crew. We have worked at the Lowry theatre for many years and have regularly sent crew to Buxton Opera House, Storyhouse Chester, Liverpool Empire, and many more.

Etihad Stadium, Manchester County Cricket Ground, and Anfield have been the destinations of many a world tour and G7 have been there building stages for some of the world's top artists: Beyonce, Take That, Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, and others too many to mention.

We have worked with Manchester, Kirkees, and other councils to provide public events in city and town centres providing staging, events crew, and other equipment and expertise successfully and seamlessly from build to derig.
